Charitable giving is the act of giving money, goods or time, either directly or by means of a charitable trust or other worthy cause. My beloved mother, Penny Waga, of blessed memory from my first moments raised us to believe and understand that giving was a requirement – not optional. Whether time, money, attention or prayer, we were expected to give to charitable causes.
Today, The Ronn Torossian Family Foundation is proud to give charity to causes and issues my family and I believe in. It is the right thing to do, and I believe the more I give, the more I will be blessed to receive. It’s simply the right thing to do, and everyone should give, regardless of how much or how little they have. The almighty rests his blessing on those who give.
There are so many worthy causes that one can give charity to – religious organizations, charities for the sick, childrens’ causes, the hungry – someone in need or important causes. Pick a cause, or causes and give. Charity simply means doing what is right and just.
“What is the use of living, if it not be to strive for noble causes and to make this muddled world a better place for those who will live in it after we are gone?” Winston Churchill
